Airway Science for Kids offers aviation and STEM-focused field trips. Bring your class for a fun, unique, and informative field trip that complements your lesson plans!
Learn about Aviation, Space, Drones, or Robotics during your trip to PFEC or ATC. Our educators and yours will create activities! Our Field Trips begin with a group lesson that answers the question, “How do airplanes fly?” Afterward, students explore and learn more about the science and history of flight with a tour of our facilities, a chance to fly simulators, play Kerbal, and more!
This two-hour field trip is for groups of 12-48 students and can be scheduled from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Space and an additional 30 minutes are available for students to stay for lunch, but note that Airway Science does not provide lunch.
Each field trip is $5.00 per student. Teachers and chaperones are free of charge.
Note: Groups under 12 students are accepted but will be charged the minimum student rate.
Title I schools are eligible for reduced-cost admission.
