After School 3D Design Club: Portland, OR

The Aerospace Training Center (ATC) will facilitate an afterschool design and 3D printing club/program for students. Using the computer lab, students learn to design in TinkerCAD and prepare prints for printers in Ultimaker Cura. Students will use tablets to to sculpt their 3D designs in an app called Nomad or interested students can learn to use an app called Polycam for 3D scanning. There will also be the opportunity to learn how to make silicone molds from 3D models. When students have completed their designs they’ll be able to print them out on using on site 3D printers.

This is a structured after school club and students should plan to attend the entire session each week.

After registration, students are welcome to join the next scheduled session. Limited to 15 participants.
