Summer break doesn’t need to be a cause of food insecurity for your family.
Check out these local programs that offer free meals for children under 18 in locations across the Portland-Metro Region. Spread the word and help no child go hungry! Dates and times vary but each programs has this rule in common: Children must be present to receive a meal and meals must be consumed at the site of service.

Vancouver, WA – June 26 to August 11

Hillsboro, OR – June 21 to August 17

During the summer months, Hillsboro School District sponsors free lunch in six locations. Meals are intended for children between the ages of 1 and 18, one per person. Children must be present to receive a meal and meals must be consumed at the site of service.

Portland, OR – June 21 to August 18 (dates vary!)

Play for days at Free Lunch + Play, where kids come to share a meal together and have fun in the sun!
Monday through Friday from 10am-2pm. Meals provided by Portland Public Schools, Centennial School District, Parkrose School District and David Douglas School District and adhere to the USDA Federal Lunch Program rules and regulations.

Farmers Markets and SNAP
