As you may know, ASK relies on grants from the Oregon Department of Education, and while we have secured funding to sustain our services, there has been an unexpected delay in the distribution of these funds. Consequently, our staff is currently on temporary furlough, with their working hours reduced to zero until the funds become available.
We will continue to run Open Saturdays at The Education Center on Pearson Field (https://airsci.org/
We ask for your understanding and patience as our staff and Board of Directors assess our strategic plans and program offerings. While we’re eager to resume our full schedule, ensuring financial stability is crucial to continuing to provide you with exceptional experiences.

As we await the grant that will allow us to continue our critical work, we must confront this obstacle head-on.
